Matte Tin Plating

These safety parts require high corrosion protection from the zinc plating process, which is achieved by the application of Chrome 6 Free passivation and various top coats, resulting in enhanced torque and tension performance. Gold Plating

Gold Plated Lead Frames are used by medical device manufacturers. Gold plating is unique because no stamping is involved; it is made by water jets cutting the lead frames into the raw copper material sheet. Sharretts Plating Company provides an innovative process to reduce gold consumption by shielding and using current robbers to create an equal thickness deposit across the whole sheet. Our unique gold deposit enables us to apply up to 33% less gold and pass all environmental testing requirements, with no added nickel or copper underplating.

Silver Plating

Silver Plated Copper Bus Bars are used in automotive electronics. This finish, a semi-bright silver, is produced via our flat stock silver, tin, over our nickel or copper line. Our silver plating line has the capacity to produce 50 tons per day.

Electroless Nickel Plating

Copper Diodes Electroless Nickel Plated for Corrosion Resistance. Electroless nickel plating parts are mass-produced by rack plating in our special Electroless Nickel Bath. This allows high speed nickel deposition, which passes RCA Nitric Acid Test, meaning our process can yield a low porous finish and maintain plating thickness rate throughout the whole bath life.
